Get Involved
Be Part of Something Meaningful
Volunteers are at the heart of Equilus. Whether you're helping with a session, spending time with our horses, supporting an event or working behind the scenes, your time can make a real difference to people with disability and their families.
You don't need to be an experienced horse person to get involved. Training and support are provided, and there are opportunities to suit a wide range of interests, skills and availability.
Volunteering with Equilus
There's a Place for Everyone
At Equilus, we believe every volunteer has something valuable to contribute. No job is too small, and you don't need to have previous experience with horses or disability services to get started.
Our volunteers contribute in many different ways, from supporting participants during sessions and caring for horses to helping with administration, fundraising, events and centre maintenance.
Whether you have a few hours to give or would like to become more regularly involved, we'll help you find an opportunity that suits your skills, interests and availability.
